![]() This old barn has been sitting here forever, watching the world change. An elementary school sprouted across the street and the barn stayed the same. The people that own the land built a big, beautiful brick house, and the barn never changed. A gated community went up right down the road, and there stands the barn. Constant. Steady. Strong. The modern world is a whirl around it- neighborhoods, roads, businesses, and it stays there safely encased in its little bubble. A patch of the past, sitting there untouched. We drive by this barn a lot, and even though I have always wanted to, today was the first day I stopped to take a picture. Maybe part of me knew there was no need to capture it in a photo, because I know it will always be there tomorrow. Can you tell that I love this old beat up building? LOL Labels: Places Post by: Emily @ 6:01 PM ![]() Replies: I LOVE old barns. We have so many around our town I seem to find a new one every other day. And you captured it perfectly! lol, the timing is why I took the picture at all...we were driving by it right when the sun was in a perfect spot...figured it was a sign that it was time to take the picture. ;) Post a Comment All Photos, Graphics, and Text © 2008 Emily ALL RIGHTS RESERVED |
